About the YU-FLEC

Greetings

The Yamagata University Flexible Electronics Consortium for Academia-Industry Cooperation (YU-FLEC) has been constructed via one-on-one collaboration with individual companies, providing practical development based on the concept of “Needs First” academia-industry collaboration.
The YU-FLEC is one of the main activities of the “Research Group for Flexible Technologies (Nakada/Furukawa/Yuki/Koden )” belonging to the Innovation Center for Organic Electronics (INOEL) of Yamagata University, expanding the previous consortiums of the “Yamagata University Organic Thin Film Device Consortium” (FY2013‒FY2015) and the “Yamagata University Flexible Organic Electronics Practical Key Technology Consortium (YU-FOC)” (FY2016‒FY2018).

About the Research Group for Flexible Technologies (Nakada/Furukawa/Yuki/Koden)

The Research Group for Flexible Technologies (Nakada/Furukawa/Yuki/Koden) is a group for academia-industry collaborations at the Innovasion Center for Organic Electronics (INOEL) of Yamagata University, aiming at practical developments in the field of flexible electronics.
Our concept is “Needs First,” in which needs and requests from collaborating companies are the first priority. We support R&D for the practical technologies of the collaborating companies, aiming at contribution to actual business.
Our activities from a “Needs First” perspective have been granted award from Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, government of Japan in 2017.

In addition, individuals collaborating with each company is also possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
